In addition to Judge Henry Floyd and U.S. Attorney Reggie Lloyd I have also heard discussion about the following:
Steve Matthews
Bill Coates
Both would make fine judges.

Bill, based on what you know about Matthews and Coates, do you think they would be conservative and/or originalist jurists?
I do not know Bill Coates that well--but those who are close to him indicate he would be a solid conservative jurist.
Matthews would be my first choice.
I vote for Judge Seymour. What do you think?
No to Seymour. She's a relatively liberal Clinton appointee. No, no, no.
I thought Seymour was a former US Attorney supported by Sen. Thurmond?
I bet a current sc district court judge gets elevated.
I doubt Matthews and/or Coates would be confirmed by Dems and the Leahy Senate ...
